The fifth edition of Frieze New York on Randall’s Island covers more than 200 galleries from 31 countries. The New York’s most important art fair showcases compelling artworks by established contemporary artists and the emerging newcomers. Since 2012, Frieze New York has gained a reputation for assembling quality, museum–style presentations focusing on blue chip galleries and some of the most innovative young dealers in the art world today.
This year, the fair features solo exhibits by Markus Amm (Herald St, London), N. Dash (Casey Kaplan, New York), Simon Fujiwara (Taro Nasu, Tokyo), Moshekwa Langa (Stevenson, Cape Town), Jumana Manna (CRG Gallery, New York), Richard Nonas (Fergus McCaffrey, New York), Mai-Thu Perret (David Kordansky Gallery, Los Angeles) and for the first time a presentation by Ali Banisadr at Sperone Westwater (New York) among more than a thousand artists from all over the world.
