    THE 21ST ANNUAL SOFA CHICAGO KICKS OFF WITH AN
    OPENING NIGHT PREVIEW ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 6

    Opening November 6th, 2014- SOFA CHICAGO.

    CHICAGO – SOFA CHICAGO, the world’s premier art fair dedicated to Sculpture, Objects,
    Functional Art and Design, will welcome more than 3500 attendees to the Opening Night
    Preview on Thursday, November 6, beginning at 5 p.m. with an invitation only preview, continuing
    with a Public Preview from 7-9 p.m. Guests at the preview event will be the first to experience
    the fair, meet hundreds of artists, view thousands of works of art from nearly 70 galleries,
    and mix and mingle with gallerists, artists, curators, designers, and the Host Committee.

    “The Opening Night Preview is a wonderful opportunity for collectors and art aficionados to get the first viewing of the fair’s offerings from nearly 70 galleries representing 14 countries,”
    said Fair Director, Donna Davies. “We’re delighted to welcome returning sponsor Chubb Personal Insurance, as well as new sponsors Kia and Caesarstone. We also want to thank the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), who designed this year’s VIP Concierge desk.”

    curators, and critics, alongside dealer presentations that highlight emerging artists and designers.

    Founded in 1994, SOFA CHICAGO (Sculpture Objects Functional Art + Design) is Chicago’s longest continuously running art fair and the world’s foremost fair dedicated to masterworks of contemporary art and design in all media including glass, ceramics, wood, fiber and metal.
