This painting represents a gentleman with an autistic disorder. What I have tried to show here is the inner serenity and happiness that people suffering this condition usually have, despite their condition.

I believe that what we often regard as human “normality” usually does not automatically mean happiness.

A life simple and made of plain things, without asking ourselves questions about our existence or the meaning of life is the way to happiness, and that is often the “secret” that these so called sufferers have that we will hardly be able to know in our “normal” but embattled existence.
