As an artist working with many mediums, I have also developed a special interest in mixed media paintings. I enjoy incorporating multicolored material layers—silk, ribbons, beads, and various fabrics to create a three-dimensional affect for cityscapes, sky lined against rich, vibrant watercolor skies. My watercolors can take up to fourteen layers of carefully applied individual hues. I use my own photographs of my favorite city, Melbourne, to capture the different times of day and the colors that the city displays. I also have produced a number of mixed media creations of other cities for commissioned work.

My first steps are applying watercolor paints and pastel, then I use an abstract style in oil and acrylic.
After living a few years in the abstract world, I began to be disgusted by huge global abstract productions.
My style now is very much trivial or primitive. I adore letting off steam and creating a unique design from scenery, faces, nudes, drifts, emotions, and so on. Next, I’d like to take pictures in B/W, and to give them a special mark with my paintbrush, of course in acrylic and with a lot of effects.

I am a painter and a gallery owner. I used to live in Paris, but now I have a gallery in Denmark. My works have a poetic beauty, sensitivity, imagination, spirituality, and energy. I am one of a kind, my paintings are very much in movement, but also contain soft but powerful lines that meet in great harmony. My colors are very unique, the effect is very original, whether I paint on canvas, or on paper (mixed techniques, pastels, watercolor, gouache, metals and ink.) My art is visionary and reveals many surprises the more you look at it.

I have painted in watercolor for over 10 years. My greatest achievements are born with spots of color (pigment) deposited into wet paper. The quantities of water and pigments used, along with my inclinations and my emotions all affect the results. I challenge myself to imagine or see what I will do with this fusion of colors before I begin. With this technique, I realize flowers, landscapes, houses, etc. Harmony and sweetness prevail in all of my creations.

My watercolor paintings are a combination of floating pigments and strict, more solid elements. The light atmosphere this creates exposes my mindset of the changing light in the landscape of the Lofoten Islands in Norway, where I was born and grew up.

In wintertime there is almost no daylight, But the light that is left creates a mysterious mood with an orange, red color.
Quite opposite from during the short and hectic summer when the sun never sets, and the small villages are living day and night. The light and colors are overwhelming. My paintings are based on these natural contrasts.
