My work is an exploration of shape and color, inspired by the ever-changing play of light and shadow.  Realism is the structure on which I build my images, but the focus is more on the abstract quality of the visual world than on actual content.  I am most often inspired by the natural world, the great out doors.  Leaves are especially interesting to me, being infinite, in shape, color, texture, and structure.
