Antithesis proposes a counterpoint to the academic thesis show, which has traditionally served as a right of passage into the esteemed arena that is the Art World. In contrast, all of these artists have already engaged in numerous gallery and museum exhibitions and other prestigious projects prior to, or during, their tenure at their respective institutions. Since the genesis of this project, most of these artists have graduated and begun to take their practice to the international stage, so it would be inaccurate to label this exhibition as yet another “student show”. Don’t miss it.
