]]> I’m Peter Grundtner and I live in Austria. I paint in modern impressionism, colour expressionism and surrealism combined with my special inventions, mainly paintings with statue compositions and ‘picture-in-picture’ paintings. I’m a multimedia artist who also draw, write, photograph, and sculpt. The Dancing Shiva is a symbol for destroying and renewing the world in the wheel of time. In my work I try to express the “world soul” concealed behind the things. In the words of Martin Buber, in the encounter of the self and Nature, the new reality comes into being- either of the painting or the sculpture.
