Unfortunately, the high-quality photograph can’t display the distinguishing feature in my work. The circles which filled all the works are holes in the canvas.

This can disadvantage the viewer’s first impression when looking the works.

The sense of the “BEYOND THE APPEARANCE” collection means the gaze has to cross the craters and it is forced to go beyond the first picture. The wall, which is the background of the works together with the light, which seeps in through the holes to create an extraordinary network. The colours and the material combine to create the third dimension.
