I work in the media of painting, sculpture, and light installation. Originally trained as a lawyer, I have been exploring the area between the figurative and abstract since 1982. My latest works question the construction of reality in the context of a media saturated world’s ubiquitous production of images.

Painting to me is an act of creation and assertiveness. I am guided by adventure, occurrences, and experience, and try to trace nature’s impulses. I am looking for effective, harmonic creations. I do often experiment with new materials and techniques without falling in to habits.
