See the world through my eyes… People always had a basic need to create things for several motivations and reasons. Things that still exist today communicate the past – messages about nations, special places, events or relationships. They are signs from the past that tell us stories, whether real, fictional, or even of spiritual encounters.

My sculptures and works would like to tell stories from the past and present, the great cycles of mankind, or interpret the poetry of a possible future. The memories and imagination of the viewer form the actions and the content.

Although I am a ceramic artist, glass is an essential part of my sculptures. What fascinates me about glass is the way light penetrates the glass, how the rays travelling through the work make the colours shine and glow, and how the ever-changing light transforms the work. In my sculptures, ceramic forms the frame and glass gives it a new dimension – a dimension of space and timelessness.
