Errors Allowed will feature the work of over 200 artists from Europe and the Mediterranean region. The International network, Bjcem, which has organized the show, intends to represent the complexity, vitality, and multitude of perspectives that together form reality in this region. Eight curators worked together to explore the diversity of localities, communities, and lives focussing on processes of knowledge production and consumption within this domain. In Errors Allowed they designated eleven thematic categories, such as “End of Modernism”, “Crisis of Representation”, “Library”, and “Actions”, to organize the participating artists’ work. The work explores institutionalized and individual methods of learning and the socio-political implications of knowledge.
